Richard’s Vermont Made Sauces has successfull BBQ Cook Off 2010
It would have been spectacular if all our Friends and Customers could have attended our 1rst Annual BBQ Cook Off. This was definitely a trial run for great events to come. We had 4 Chefs, Husband Steve, Son Jason, Grandson Jacob ( Best Hot dog cooker) and Richard the founder of Richard's Sauces. Steve, Jason and Richard competed with pork ribs. All used Richard's Sauces, however each had there own technique of preparing and grilling. Five judges ranging in age from 17 to 80+, all loved their BBQ, had the difficult assignment of choosing the best in each category. Most Moist, Most Tender and Best Flavor.

A large Hubbard Squash grown by Steve was The Guess My Weight item. Weights ranged from 40lbs to 200lbs. Actual weight was 66.1 lbs and 5 bottles of Richard's Sauces was the prize. Lucky Carl Ward the winner.
We had many great dishes to choose from in our Buffet line thanks to Family and Friends in attendance. To much food in fact, what were we thinking.
Five generations were in attendance at our Great end of Summer BBQ event. Bringing immediate family together as well as close friends and great neighbors was what this years event was all about, we love them and thank them for their support.
